Really nice hotel located close to the futian checkpoint. If you got a car then this would be the place to be. The hotel has all the amenities I would expect from the Marriot Brand. It has really large rooms and they were clean and smoke free. The beds were really comfortable and I really want to figure out where they get their pillows so I can buy them for myself. The staff were really friendly and if they did not speak English an online translator will help. They have a pool and a fitness center that we did not have time to use and a restaurant and bar that looked pretty good. The prices are definitely higher than the outside but if you are lazy to go out then you can order from the mobile robot bellboy. In the area there is a 24 hr convenience store downstairs and behind there is a whole residential street with lots of food options and a McDonald's.

If you are staying in Shenners for shopping or a quick work trip there is absolutely nothing wrong with this place (I was here for shopping and meeting friends and I was in the hotel for literally 13 hours, sleep, shower, shuttle).

Opposite the immigration building, there are restaurants, shops, and the great spa (Tenz). There are several subway entrances around the immigration building. - The pool stays open long hours (6am-11pm)

Now that Covid has passed they have restarted the shuttle bus to and from ST in the Free trade zone and to the border crossing and shops at other times of day. Good breakfast buffet, but a little expensive during the week when I only want a small simple breakfast and cannot do the buffet justice.
